When I got my Dreamcast I was mildly happy. I was itching to play Soul Calibur and Ready 2 Rumble Boxing, but I also had Playstation and Nintendo 64 games coming up that I was insanely excited about. Unlike everyone else so far, I didn't realize the Dreamcast would be my favorite console in advance. It just happened to grow on me once I realized I could play any game I wanted for the price of a stack of recordable CDRs. It allowed me to play more of it's library than most other consoles i've owned. The arcade atmosphere was a huge deciding factor as were the emulators. I also partially blame myself for the downfall of SEGA as a console maker, but still, good times indeed.
