Forums - Sony - IGN Brand New The Order:1886 Impressions

Just like we told you, wait for real impressions on real gameplay ;)

And it's good, for once, the reviewer understood the cinematic gameplay doesnt replace the gameplay but allow you to interact during the cinematics, where the other games just throw cinematics , i think any of you would prefer an interactive cinematic in a game when you understand that

Oh my, a positive impression for the game. I can finally be more optimistic

Seeing as it's Ready at Dawn's first AAA, I'll consider a metascore of low 80s a victory.

Very happy to hear this. I was starting to feel bad for RAD.

All the negativity around this game has honestly been pissing me off. I get it - it's linear, but practically every other series is going open world so we don't need ALL of our games to be about traveling across a map.

As long as the graphics are breath-taking, the story/acting is great, and gameplay is solid it will be an excellent game. Not every game can be Uncharted lol.

So is the game more open? From the demo I saw, looks to be just a corridor shooter.

If this game gets a 8-8.5 metacritic it would be a victory for sony and RAD giving all the bad press they had since the first gameplay trailer.

Even a 7.5 on metacritic would be a great victory with all the deep negativity surrounding the game, almost everyone expect it to be a boring game like Ryse, without any logical reason compared to the others cinematic TPS

But should we believe the hype?

Please tell me, IGN!

If you demand respect or gratitude for your volunteer work, you're doing volunteering wrong.

I don't get why people were complaining about the linearity to begin with, not every game need to be open world to be great, but it's good to see they are liking it more now.

tag:"reviews only matter for the real hardcore gamer"

Yeah, to complain about the linearity when the last GOTY ( TLOU ) was linear is not really clever.

And the game is getting more and more positive impressions, Gamekult who hated it now like it " Classic but very good gameplay with splendid visuals "

Not impressed. This happens with a lot of games. Sites will hype a game then once they review it they will trash it.

Sonic Lost World is the biggest offender...

On Sept. 23, 2013 IGN was praising Sonic Lost World
