Well deserved, for Far Cry 4. Great game!

I think Wolfenstein should certainly get an honourable mention though. How they managed to meld old school gameplay with modern storytelling, characterisation, stealth sections and superb level design was nothing short of genius.

If anything, it showed that whilst ID have made some great tech in recent years, their ability as actual game developers has waned (the last game that I thought was actually above average was back in 1999; Quake III Arena). Bethesda should just give the ID IPs to more talented developers as happened in this case.

Yeah Machinima did well with Wolfenstein: The New Order. I won't be surprised if the series is handed over to them. They even said that there was a lot of things they'd like to do in a sequel.

I'm also surprised by the quality of the game, as the game had almost no hype behind it.

How could Halo possibly not be nominated....what a Joke

Errr... because it's a hd remake lol, no remakes were nominated for any awards other than the Best Remaster category.

Like I said earlier then, must of been a pretty empty remaining list for the remaining categories considering the amount of remasters this year.

Not really, there's been tons of great games this year. Why don't you try looking the list of nominees up.

Dark Souls 2, Dragon Age, Bayonetta, Mario Kart, Smash Bros, Shadows of Mordor, Hearthstone. There's been plenty.

BORING.

User was warned for this post. The great Ernest Hemingway needed at least six words to tell a story. Your one isn't going to cut it around here.

Yeah, if you don't like any of those games you're definitely boring.

Far Cry 4 is great. I personally would have went with Titanfall, but Far Cry is an excellent choice as well.

I think Far Cry 4 for single-player and Titanfall for multiplayer sounds right.

And Wolfenstein: The New Order for the story.

Yup, I think I agree with that. Far Cry 4 has some of the best single-player fun in any shooter, while Titanfall completely revamped the FPS industry in the multiplayer department (games like Halo and CoD are now trying to copy aspects of it). And Wolfenstein was suprisingly great in the story department.

Xbox One - PS4 - Wii U - PC

Far Cry 4 is really awesome, I think it deserves it.

I enjoyed the game so much on PS4 I bought it for Xbox One as well.
