Forums - Gaming - Bigger Moneyhatted exclusive: Tomb Raider or Street Fighter?

Who knows without knowing the exact deals.

Tomb Raider will hit PS4 eventually, but when?

SFV might be PS4/PC only, but SFV Championship Edition might not be. And even if SFVCE is also not on Xbone, you can bet Super SFVCE will come. And even if it doesnt, I bet Super Duper SFVCE will.

Also, target audience plays into it here if you're talking which makes the most people salty. SF sells well in territories the Xbone doesn't. Tomb Raider is big in areas the PS4 is big.

If you're talking cost, who knows.

Well Tomb Raider is big in Europe. Throw in a exclusive bundle and MS is set.

Plus I know this is controversial, but X1 has had Killer Instinct, a continuously evolving and meaty game. Xbox gamers had their fighter fix for over a year and by next year the game will be even bigger through character additions and updates.

Bro, that's not how gaming works. CoD: AW just came out and sold alot. That mean nobody got the MCC? You can (and people do) buy more than 1 game in a particular genre.

Merely pointing out that X1 doesn't have a shortage of dedicated exclusive fighters, and has had one since Nov 2013. Fighters, good ones anyway, don't come along often, especially exclusive/console exclusive. Not like shooters.

Xbox: Best hardware, Game Pass best value, best BC, more 1st party genres and multiplayer titles.

Tomb Raider was the worst one from the poin of view that it was announced as a multiplat and then moneyhated as an exclusive as oposed to SFV that was announced from the beggining as an exclusive and it was hinted for a long time to be an exclusive, anyone remember haduken cabs?

but in terms of which is the biggest franchise i would say easily Street Fighter, its is the KING of fighting games and Tomb Raider well its a great game but... uhmmm... Uncharted tops it as of late.

I'm actually surprised it's coming to PC. It's weird thinking of people playing fighting games on a PC. Even with a stick or pad hooked up.

This is easy, Street Fighter V. Its a pretty crappy title to buy exclusive rights to.

SFV is worse because its a clear response from Sony.

TR2 is something MS is help funding which is good for CD as 8 million + sales was a "disappointment"

Everybody knows that a new Street Fighter's first game is always followed by a CE and I bet the CE will be multi.

If they are both timed exclusives Tomb Raider, because it sells much better on Sony consoles.

Street Fighter V IS a console exclusive.
Rise of the Tomb Raider is a timed exclusive.

SF V, because TR is confirmed to be timed and Sony didn't had to put a lot of spin in the announcement to make it seem bigger and will have greater reveals.

Since Sony have a better uncharted against TR but ms KI isn't better than sfV Sony have a bigger deal. But since Sony don't have a good fighter and ms a action adventure both got good deals to compliment their libraries.

Street Fighter for sure. TR is just timed anyways, and I'd argue it's a less relevant franchise.

SF because that is a definite system seller for a fairly big segment of gamers
