The numbers don't seem all that easy to find, and I'm sure the myriad of versions make this a little more difficult to locate. Perhaps it's in one of the gigantic threads on this subject somewhere, but actually finding that needle in the haystack is not easy to do.

Does anyone have decent sales totals for the SF4 series on the various consoles and 3DS?

I'm curious to know how well SF4 did on PS3 and 360 primarily. Are we talking a 2M seller, a 4M seller? What?

NOTE : THIS IS NOT A THREAD FOR CONSOLE WARZ OR DEBATING THE MONEYHATS FOR SONY/MS/NINTENDO/ETC, WE HAVE THREADS FOR THAT. Personally I don't dig moneyhats, but am just trying to gather info.

Depends when it releases. I think 4 million plus if it releases holiday 2015

Thanks, yeah the trick is trying to figure out what the series did considering all the variants they put out. It's a lot tougher than it is tracking a game that only has 1 version and maybe 1 special edition (like Deus Ex : HR).

All the versions of SF4 are listed separately (though the various platform versions are combined).

Edit: They don't seem to have Ultra on there, but according to Wiki it's sold 500k (full game only). It's basically the same game. I bought:

Street Fighter 4 (360)

Super Street Fighter 4 (360) -and it may have been DLC for SF4. I can't remember.

Super Street Fighter 4 Arcade Edition (also DLC for SSF4)

Ultra Street Fighter 4 (360 DLC)

Street Fighter 3 3D (3DS)


The thing with the original from (I believe) 2008 is that they kept adding more content to it so you could buy it digitally and as a stand alone disc, Not to mention digital copies and the fact that it was given away on Gold and possibly PS+ (can1t remember).

I don't think we can get an accurate number.
