With the huge decline the entire year, N3DS stopped a very steep 50%+ drop YoY with its release in Mid October. Though its not doing miraculous #s, its keeping the 3ds afloat for now.

My questions are with the remaining 4 weeks how much will 3ds total this entire year? Also How Well do you see 3ds selling next year? Will it drop heavily, or slightly go down? Flat YoY?

2011:  1.398mil  

2012:  1.192mil

2013:  751k

2014:  498k 

Its gonna sell poorly until Nintendo announces some new games for it... 2014 has been pretty eh for games on the 3ds, it had a nice amount of games but obviously not as great as 2013 hence why its down for YoY... When Nintendo announces some key games, it should continue to sell well (but I doubt it will sell anything like 2013 ever again (or 2012 in Japan's case)) but it will sell well this year none the less

Pokemon and Yo-kai watch will ensure that the New 3DS will sell well during the holiday. By the end of 2014, it should pass 3 mil.

Quite more than 2013!Media create predicted 1.2m New3ds/xl so this implies 500k in the 4 weeks but 3ds will do at least 200k in the last two weeks so the prediction will be smashed!
