Forums - Gaming - Nintendo composes the best music

I'd say SE does.

Yep, they're up their with the industry's best.

For anyone who wants to listen to a great Nintendo 20th century (remake was in 21st century) piece, listen to Gerudo Valley - Legend of Zelda 25th Anniversary Symphony. As for Microsoft and Sony the main halo theme and We Love Katamari-Disco are great (but not orchastrated).

I'm still annoyed at David Wise's masterpiece not getting even nominated at The Game Awards.

Edit: at post above (because I don't want to double post), I'm pretty sure you can write music.

Me too! This (and Smash) not being nominated is unacceptable.  D=

Bet with Teeqoz for 2 weeks of avatar and sig control that Super Mario Odyssey would ship more than 7m on its first 2 months. The game shipped 9.07m, so I won

well nintendo is overall the best in the industry.

I kinda agree. I only like it because they have Rare music.

Bet with Xander XT:

I can beat more games on his 3DS than he can on my PSVita in a month. Loser has to buy the winner a game on his/her handheld Guess who won? http://gamrconnect.vgchartz.com/thread.php?id=193531

Me!

I love their music but it still is subjective.

Yup, definitely. Nobody else even comes close tbh, everything from game design, music, gameplay and general polish are all top-notch. And now, with Mario Kart 8 and Hyrule Warriors, their DLC puts most if not all other publisher's efforts to shame.

I liked PS1 era music a lot. Mostly N64 and PS1.

Lately music for me just sounds flat, in all situations. Whether it be pop, classic, video game, everything just sounds boring to me.
