LOVE THIS GAME. Honorable mention for the True Crime games and Conker's Bad Fur Day on the N64.

Dude, I remember that game!  Freedom Fighters was awesome!

Also, Battle Clash with the superscope was awesome back in the day.  Surprised the franchise didn't get a reboot with the Wii.  The Wii U could be an oportunity to revive it as more a proper mech game with sophisticated controls; the Gamepad would be up to the task.

Honorable mention to Glover, which wasn't too obscure, but didn't do gangbusters either.  And i really liked it.

I bought Freedom Fighters about 6 or 7 months ago and haven't been bothered to play it (well I played it once). Will play after Xenoblade (or Pandora's Tower or Project Zero 2). Has anyone mentioned Infinite Space? I only went through the first two pages. It's one of my favourite games and there isn't much else like it, I'd love a sequel. Killer7 is great too, don't really know if it flopped or not though.

flopped enough that it was released on ps2 shortly after gc, which was the standby back then. if it doesn't sell, release on ps2. same fate as viewtiful joe, super monkey ball (though that actually sold incredibly well for a new property) and (EDIT) resident evil 4.

great game tho, even better imo than no more heroes.

Killer7 actually had a simultaneous release on the PS2 and Gamecube except the PS2 version was partly censored, had longer load times and overall it ran better on the GC.  Also RE Zero, REmake and PN03 weren't ported to the PS2.

Though Killer7 did sell poorly on both consoles so..

Karnov, for NES. Till today, i dont even know what was it about Xp

Loved this game for the N64. Was going to use Baiten Kaitos but someone beat me ot the punch!

" Rebellion Against Tyrants Is Obedience To God"

Okami

The Ganbare Goemon series. Especially Starring Goemon and Goemon's Great Adventure for the N64, the latter being one of my all time favorite games.
Also: Snowboard Kids.

Return Fire and Space Hulk on the 3DO. Fantastic games on a console that most didn't get to enjoy like I did. Strahl was my first QTE game and was actually cool for the time being an interactive anime basically.

Does Beyond Good and Evil count?

I wish they would finally build a series out of that damn game. The sequel's been in development hell for over a decade...

I feel Beyond Good and Evil has too much of a following to count, but I agree, I really dug the atmosphere and characters in that. it was quirky. but its well known relatively speaking

someone else mentioned Zeno Clash which was really funky and good, although I think it's gotten better recognized in the PC community over time

I always enjoyed Y's 3 for the Genesis and I feel like that game gets greatly ignored so. there a lot of hidden gems that are easy to forget
