Forums - Gaming - All PS4 & XBOX ONE GAMES: 295 vs. 205

Wow, that's a 50% gap in games released. And I expect it only to grow in 2015. I'm so glad I own a PS4, so I can choose what to play out of so many games available. Glad I didn't make a mistake to buy XOne, I would have to wait about 10 months for a new AAA exclusive to get released.

Yep ps4 has more games. Games that 99% of the casual market couldn't care less about. How many ps4s were bought so someone could play Octodad? Ugh. All im seeing is an identical third party lineup and a bunch of indies thats more than likely going to make up a majority of PlayStation Plus lineup for the coming year.

its actually casuals who play indies the most, Sony has still more tripple exclusive AAA games despite that. What has Xbox one coming up next after sunset overdrive? PS4 has bloodborne coming soon and uncharted 4 after that.

halo 5, tomb raider which is xbox exclusive atm, the new fable game, scalebound and the other japanese game they revealed at E3. forgot the nae. Thats what i can think off from the top of my head.  Based on your logic sony consoles as teh most indies atm.  this year Xbox had the most in terms of AAA exclusives.

you knwo most of the games on the ps4 list are all 3rd party and indies. there were only  5 AAA and one dlc for infamous first light , that came out this year.

I believe he only meant AAA games so that doesn't include State of Decay or Ori. Not sure if Fable is AAA either (correct me if I am wrong please) and Tomb Raider is not an Xbox One exclusive.

State of Decay will be launched with 2 DLCs on retail. It's content and quality gameplay puts it abover many AAAs.

Fable is AAA.

No one is arguing the quality and quanitity State of Decay has, but AAA is based on a games budget not content.

Yes, I knwo. I have the ability to interpret the table without assistance. However, those extra 50+ games that PS4 has are all great games, and I am so happy that I have the choice to buy them if I wish, instead of not being able to do it because I own a console that made no effort to secure them for me and other customers. It is amazing how Sony goes out of their way to help indie developers to put their vision forward unhindered and without any arbitrary restrictions, while at the same time giving its users a wonderful selection of titles from all genres and development budgets.

It saddens me that others are not as lucky as PS4 users are, I wish all gamers have the ability to enjoy all games. Unfortunately, as one company tries to bring as much variety to the console, the other is busy trying to restrict choices for gamers, either by banning games from their console, or by spending money on withholding games from consumers. That is sad and a poor business practice I choose never to support.

yea but those 50+ extra games have been on steam for years and alot of them would have been on xbox 360 or ps3.  Plus you can these games for alot cheaper on steam an don steam sale you can get a game for around 3 dollars. For example i got deadlight on steam for 4 dollars yesterday  , howver on ps4  it would cost more then 10 dollars. It great that you can have those games on ps4 but its highly impressive to hav egames that have existed for years on other platforms such as steam. XO has alot of variety. i know it doesn't hav eas many indies as sony platform but its getting there. Ms is not going to restrict indies for being  put on XO. I have all of them with alot of games on all 3 but  sony this year for me has been disappointing as they do rely alot of indies while the big ones are coming out next year. Not a big fan of indie games. However i do play some but don't like when you are flooded with htem insttead of them the big blockbuster games lol.  However i do agree that gamers should have the opportunity to enjoy games from all genres. I always beleive in getting all 3 , because with that , you get that full experience which you mentioned in your reply.
