Forums - Nintendo - Simple Question about Wii U Black Friday Sales?

300k imo is too low since Smash Bros launched in Europe that week along with EBay reporting great sales for the Wii U online. I think it was just 300k on Black Friday along with maybe 250k the rest of the week. My predictions is around 450k to 500k for that week. Just my prediction though.

The question is about USA or NA!Ioi added that there is a high possibility tha wii u sold 300k in USA or NA alone...

He mentions there's a chance that the NA sales are as high as 300k which would then bump the ww up to 400k.  Will just have to wait and see exactly how the official numbers pan out as more data comes in.

ok and then theres always that chance of smash boosting eu somehow correct so it could possibly be more than 400k although unlikely?

Those figures suggest the Wii U sold 100k outside of the US. Considering non- sales for last week were only about 63k it has certainly got some boost. Does seem a little low for a big game release though.

Well we haven't gotten news about smash bros and hardware sales in the other 2 big eu markets yet

expect a good hardware boost there

(plus I believe wii u is undertracked in france)

i wonder if they changed the math behind the german numbers, or if they still undertrack the wii u every week fter the adjustment.

If wii u sold 300k in USA or NA and 400k+ totally for that week, how would you feel mr kapi?

300k for BF would be excellent, 200k would be lacklustre. Really interested to see how the number pan out
