If they win then it deserved, look at at the price and the bundled say it deserved, but i guess is not enough to slightly close the gap with PS4 though, and with sacrificing the price, i say PS4 is still dominating.
Someone from neogaf have actual numbers, this is what he said.

He said nobody won. Then said (I'm parapharsing): "obviously the Xbox One and the PS4 performed the best" that made it quite clear that he meant it was a tie. It is quite annoying. He could have said they were very close instead of the misleading "nobody won". Also yeah the "you woudn't believe me" is very dumb. Them being very close isn't unbelievable.

Yes, if Xbox One want to make a bigger gap with PS4 they should quadraple their sales from the current one.

Ah, i wasn't there for that. I only saw the start, and in the context i mentioned it seemed fair enough. Silly to use to word for the hardware though. Even ignoring that they're referring to VGC numbers, the gap VGC showed was nowhere near large enough to be described as "domination". Maybe WW, but not in the UK.

And it's still a nope. Price might be the last factor that pushes people over the edge but it will never be THE major factor. If MS wouldn't have managed the turnaround, people would've still run to PS4 as their only choice. Of course it helps that people are fickle and with bad memory.
You can only entice people with price if they don't think the product is bad to begin with.
People aren't running in droves to get an X1 because it's a few bucks cheaper. It's because they are convinced of its value which they weren't a year ago.

Price is still a major factor this gen. the x1 pricecuts is once again proven this true. especially here in the USA and UK
Had the ps3 not launch at 600 bucks.. 360 would not have had the lead it took.. That's a fact
