"Again" is referring to their last report, when they said XB1 had been ahead for 3 weeks.

That's too far out for them to use that. |
It was an example...for pete's sake. It could be 60k->120k and 58k ->122k for all we know. All we know that last 2 weeks were very close. What we can't say based on that info is that XB1 has won the past 5 weeks. We can't, because THAT would be reaching and not evidence based.

does visible now euqals better?

Ps4 + 1 free game 289
Ps4 + 5 free games (one of them just minecraft) 349
Ps4 plain for 279
but im not suprised by u, because u also think "edging again this week" does not equal "edging last week, too"
and xb1 does not sold 500k units in septmeber.
that's how ninsect aka pesuz act...

He will, but not necessarily to XB1>PS4. Even if he does do that that doesn't mean it's true. We all know ioi doesn't get the data MCV gets, and MCV didn't claim XB1 won last week.

Okay, that's possible. Anyway, difference is negligible. Who cares if one beat the other by 1k.
| Ninsect said: It's not in the article. "Sales of both next-gen consoles were up sharply week-on-week in the UK last week as retailers offered some great Black Friday deals. Overall games hardware sales (both consoles and handhelds) soared past 300k units, a retail source has told MCV. Home console sales in the UK are at this point double were they were at the same stage in 2013, although the handheld market is down by almost a third. Both the PS4 and Xbox One saw sales double week-on-week, with Xbox One again just edging ahead of its rival. This continues Xbox One’s recent momentum, which has seen it reach 1m sales in the UK a little over 2m months afterPS4 did the same, although it falls short of the barnstorming victory Microsoft’s machine apparently saw in the US over the weekend. The gap between Xbox One and PS4 continues to narrow, with Xbox One deals a more visible presence than either PS4 or Wii U both on the High Street and online this weekend." |
It's right there.
Won bet with t3mporary_126 - I correctly predicted that the Wii U's LTD at the end of 2014 would be closer to 9 million than 10 million. http://gamrconnect.vgchartz.com/post.php?id=6673287

March 2014 - end of October 2014 proves you wrong. The fact that the price dropped more than once (or rather, a "new SKU was introduced") and sales stagnated instead of increasing shows that price alone wasn't that huge of a factor. Yea, at the right price people will buy a product more. But to believe that a simple price cut = boosted sales is wrong. To "edge out" PS4, XBone had to drop significantly in entry price. Why didn't the simple Kinect removal make the sales jump? Price is 95% of the issue, right?
I know I'm not buying a $1200 Macbook just because it goes on sales for $900. Perceived value is 95% of the reason, not price. Otherwise, Gamecube would have blown out PS2 and WiiU would be blowing out PS4 and XBone right now.

That 289 deal is new. PS4 was 299 on BF with a game/2 games.
Haha I admit XB1 sold 500k in September FFS. It was a prediction and I was wrong.
And I'm out of this thread now that I've had my say but don't act like you're not biased lol.
