I agree with Seece on this one. If it didn't win last week they wouldn't have said "again". Besides, both this week and last week are basically a tie. Difference is very small.

"Again" is referring to their last report, when they said XB1 had been ahead for 3 weeks.

You're really reaching here.

It was an example...for pete's sake. It could be 60k->120k and 58k ->122k for all we know. All we know that last 2 weeks were very close. What we can't say based on that info is that XB1 has won the past 5 weeks. We can't, because THAT would be reaching and not evidence based.

He will, but not necessarily to XB1>PS4. Even if he does do that that doesn't mean it's true. We all know ioi doesn't get the data MCV gets, and MCV didn't claim XB1 won last week.

Well, in defense of the people who "scoffed" your opinion earlier this year:

You were screaming from the heavens that price was 95% of the reason sales were low, and once it was cut, sales would skyrocket. Then the price was cut to $449 at major retailers in March/April and $399 with Kinect removal.....and nothing happened.

March 2014 - end of October 2014 proves you wrong. The fact that the price dropped more than once (or rather, a "new SKU was introduced") and sales stagnated instead of increasing shows that price alone wasn't that huge of a factor. Yea, at the right price people will buy a product more. But to believe that a simple price cut = boosted sales is wrong. To "edge out" PS4, XBone had to drop significantly in entry price. Why didn't the simple Kinect removal make the sales jump? Price is 95% of the issue, right?  

I know I'm not buying a $1200 Macbook just because it goes on sales for $900. Perceived value is 95% of the reason, not price. Otherwise, Gamecube would have blown out PS2 and WiiU would be blowing out PS4 and XBone right now.

That 289 deal is new. PS4 was 299 on BF with a game/2 games.

Haha I admit XB1 sold 500k in September FFS. It was a prediction and I was wrong. 

And I'm out of this thread now that I've had my say but don't act like you're not biased lol.
