All the chear and gloom in this thread is based on Amazon hourly and yearly charts?
Well, where were you guys the rest of the November? |
why not, this again shows that almost equally priced console, ps4 has the advantage over xbox one even if it is more expensive than xbox one. The only reason xbox stayed ahead the rest of november is because ps4 didn't have any deals to counter the super value xbox one+ price cut.
399 ps4 with 2 games > 329 xbox one with 2 games
|
it would actually be a blood bath if SOny matched the deals but as long as they can sell every PS4 they can possibly make at $400 they will keep doing so. When demand starts to drop and they can no longer do that I'm sure they will consider a price drop now.
They will make so much more money this holiday by keeping the price up. It would have been pointless matching MS as they were going to sell all PS4's regardless (IMO).

Yes I know, I was just reminding him that xbox one was ahead because ps4 didn't have any games included in their regular price, once ps4 got high value games, it's now ahead even if the price is still higher. it's easy for him to ignored that, the reality is ps4 still has the advantage in terms acceptability by consumers, otherwise, this wouldn't be happening:
399 ps4 bundle > 329 xbox bundle
ps4 is a beast.
