I disagree,  Sony have been trying, while being successful, to change thier image and appeal to an even wider audience to include the online community as well as shooter fans from the 360 market. Thier SW sales have been out of this world and thats due to great PR and marketing campaign.  They have the better system, they know it and they are doing a great job of ensuring the market knows it.

I hope people are aware that the only X1 console available at Amazon is the X1 AC no kinect bundle. Every other sku is available at above retail price from scalpers and 3rd parties.



Getting an XBOX One for me is like being in a bad relationship but staying together because we have kids. XBone we have 20000+ achievement points, 2+ years of XBL Gold and 20000+ MS points. I think its best we stay together if only for the MS points.

Nintendo Treehouse is what happens when a publisher is confident and proud of its games and doesn't need to show CGI lies for five minutes.

It is worse but this is the first real soft drop for PS4. Much like certain people waited for X1's november drop, many will wait for the PS4 bundles as its the closest thing to a price drop the system will see for a while. I think Amazon is a good indicator of sales(PS4>X1 on BF)I wouldnt get my hopes up for anything near real numbers from VGC for a while though.

Exactly. Last December, the PS4 was out of stock all month and that allowed the X1 to win December NPD. At this time of the year, being out of stock is usually not a good thing. You want to have as many units available as possible and that is what Sony did.

I can't wait until 4 years from now when interest starts waning and they actually call a price cut or mass bundle. That should sell a lot too!

The sales seem different by store.

Gamestop rankings have PS4 first.

At Best Buys in my area, it looks like PS4 GTAV bundles have sold out at 4 out of 10 stores.  XB1 ACU remains in stock at 10 out of 10 stores.

Target has the best Xbox One deal $329 ACU bundle + $50 gift card, and they seem to be selling out of XB1's.  At my local store I could see lots of PS4's but no XB1's left.  Checking online, it looks like many Target stores are sold out or have limited supply of XB1 ACU bundles.

Walmart says they have PS4 GTAV bundles only online, but XB1's in store.
