Couldn't have said it better myself, so I won't even try.

Though, I will say, it really ticks me off about this whole black vs. white BS.  If this had been a white man who had robbed a store, assualted a black police officer before charging at him and being shot, we wouldn't have heard a god damn thing about it.  But, with the exact same situation, because it was a white cop and a black man, it's all of a sudden racism.  And just like any other case of this kind, for those on the side of the criminal, the facts don't matter at all.  It doesn't matter when eye witnesses (most of them black) corroborate the shooters/officers story.  All that matters is the false story that "civil rights activist" and "reporters" put forward in the first few minutes/hours following the shooting.  "This gentle giant (forget the part where he man-handled a store clerk and officer) was murdered in cold blood after throwing his hands up and getting down on his knees, surrendering (forget the part where he actually charged the officer with the intent to harm/kill him.)

You claim to be ticked off by it devolving into an argument of race relations, when you immedeatly generalize any opposition to your own view as "civil right activism"

Like everyone else your just distracted by the specifics, the meaningless facts that the media uses to distract people from asking the actual questions that matter.

Tell me, what agenda do you think I'm pushing. Clearly, this misconception has gone way to far.
EDIT: Or are you just going to stick by your assumptions for fear that you might be wrong about my opinion on the matter. Just like Intel and Crazed. The lack of rationality and intellegent dicussion on this forum continue to dissapoint. Just as reasonable as comment trees on youtube most times.

I'm sure I don't fully understand the situation at hand, but from where I stand it's shocking to see the situation grow to these proportions.

I will say that if I robbed a store and then got violent with an police officer and was shot and killed. My parents would be devastated over my death. They would also know that they didn't raise me to behave that way, that my unadvised decisions led to my death. They wouldn't point the finger at anyone else but me...(reminds me of the Rocky Balboa speech)

My Condolences to the Browns and the Wilsons.

Looks like there's something fundamentally wrong with how the police in the USA perceive 'threatening actions'. And with them shooting first and asking questions later. And with the police buying military grade equipment.

Finally, someone who gets it.
