I think so, but I didn't made the teasing so I have no idea. But dmc, persona, mgs, sly and several other games are expected to release 5... Could also be 15 for ff but then Roman number wouldn't fit.

It makes it sound like something coming back that is massively requested by the 'hardcore' crowd, but perhaps isn't a massive name for the wider, more casual market.

So I think it is Crash, FFVII Remake, Shenmue or TLG

FFVII remake would still be bigger, wouldn't it? Maybe I'm overestimating its effect.

I wouldn't think TLG would be something that wasn't expected or "didn't think could happen".

I like your first two guesses. Not really hoping for more Crash (I loved it back in the day, but don't really have a desire for more of it), so I guess that leaves hoping for Shenmue, which I don't know much about.
