Overall I thought the conference was awesome, even if there was a bit of a disappointment in not seeing Ratchet & Clank, getting new on Horizon or anything like that.
Sony did deliver IMO.
Still there were a lot of announcements for games no one was expecting, like Ultra Street Fighter 4 timed exclusivity, confirmation that SFV is a console exclusive on PS4 for the life of the game. New announcements like KillStrain, the highlight of awesome Uncharted 4 gameplay blowing all other games away in both the graphics and gameplay department, plus that's definitely a 2015 release.
An awesome highlight in David Jaffe's announcement and unveiling of Drawn to Death as a new IP, that's new to PS4 and exclusive.
Fat Princess Adventures as another PS4 2015 exclusive.
New gameplay for Tearaway Unfolded.
Cory Barlog letting slip about God of War being in development.
Polyphony Digital amping up GT7 in one of today's talks.
The Order and Bloodborne are both looking better than ever, The Order actually having great gameplay.
Free games from EA.
TBH if your expectations were in check then this should be classed as a 10/10 IMO, I don't feel gutted for being hyped, Sony actually has their own yearly conference now, that's apparently going to be happening every year.
My over-hyped, post conference rating is an 8/10.
Lots of announcements, not too many indies, but we did get some nice new ones, great No Man's Sky footage.
All in all I think this is the best games conference of 2015, better than Gamescom and E3 combined for Sony IMO and I already thought those were the best events of the year from all of the platform holders.
