I really don't understand what Nintendo were thinking. It must be dirt cheap to manufacture at this point. Why not introduce it in a few more developing markets at a bargain basement price. It could have managed to crawl past PS1. Well congratulations on passing 101 million I suppose.

Aww good old Wii. Now that Smash is out thought that things is gonna collect dust in my basement, since that is the reason I played it over the past few months anyway

What a shitty console it was. Shame on Nintendo and I'm well glad they pay the iron price for it now. I'm enjoying every last of salt I can when looking at their charts and results.

I havnt seen a new Wii for sale in about 2 years. Really surprised that is still sells even when I cant find any stock anywhere.

As postofficbuddy said, why not release it in say China, its dirt cheap so it should sell a fair bit.

great news for a console that barely have new games. on Wii Mini for developing countries, I'm not sure if they release it there. for sure, the problem let's say in South East Asia - they have a hacked home-brew version of Wii which is selling pancakes there. same case for X360 but Wii is more of a hit in those countries of course namely - Wii Sports and casuals love it for a few years. didn't opt to increase their gaming library.

Not true. According to gamefaqs the last Wii game is coming on november 25 and is Penguins of Madagascar.

There was also three DS games (yeah in 2014!!) released in the past couple days: Disney Planes: Fire & Rescue, Disney Big Hero 6: Battle in the Bay and Winx Club: Saving Alfea.

Indeed. Once the Wii dropped like a rock, this place went from joyous to super depressing. It's tough for me to even stay here longer than a minute or two during a visit these days..
