This has certianly sparked debate.
Another day, another comparison thread!
Well, might as well join in the fun.
This is just another opinion piece. Just like DF is. There isn't ever going to be a definitive source for an answer. If you are a PS fan, you find every little detail that wouldn't be found if you were PLAYING the game and try to create a justification of the vaunted "50% more power". If your an XB1 fan, you dismiss the mostly obvious minor detail differences as just that and say "gameplay is what matters". Neither side wins.
So, while some people are counting bushes in screenshots and others are playing the game, we can all wonder who is getting more out of this?!
It is near the end of the end....

You don't think you're biased?
The PS5 Exists.

This sums it up quite good. There is really nothing important about grass in this case. And it wasn't ever, like last gen when it was missing in RDR or other games.
It is just to rub in others noses which is arguebly a sign of maturity.

Lmao ITT : Crushed blacks are real life vs washed out colors are not, this can't even be compared.

I'm sorry, but people can't keep saying things like this in a thread that's suggesting the XB1 version is best using cutscenes with questionable quality. Missing assets are missing assets, even in 520p. Even if it turns out to be pop in, that's BAD pop in. Or did you and others think you could have this thread all to yourselves?
This isn't about 'beating' anyone, it's about qualifying a lie.

Game play and cut scenes match on the PS4 is what I am getting from this. I like that. It's a bit jarring to play a game then get a instantanious change with the visual conditions. It's deffinately a beautiful game and they did good on the remaster.

So you're criticizing people for acting on their biases by lettings yours influence your wording? ^^

The PS4 version looks better from what i can see. X1 still has issues with the crushed black it seems. The contrast is too dark.
Looks the same on screenshots, except the X1 has higher contrast. The only difference is that someone forgot to put a blood texture on the ps4 version in one of the shots. Then again it might be the result of the mission fighting, at wich point its exactly the same.
This is a last gen game, i dont even know why even bother with this comparison. More important than a screenshot comparison is a performance comparison.
