I would guess as soon as that $305 listing gets removed (that's obviously fake too) it will go back down.

No, that's not the reason, the reason is GTA5.

The amount of sales from this scammers are probably minuscule, and they don't count in the Top 100 sales anyway. For it to count the sale have to be fullfulled by Amazon.

As someone has mentioned earlier in this thread, some of those 305$ listings are probably folks who managed to snag a PS4 for less than 100 dollars from Walmart, and now are selling them on amazon to earn money.
