For simplicity, it's either an end of Sept shipment figure, or an early Nov sold through number.

Lol... that coudld be true..

Seriously though it would be a cold day in hell before that happens. I think VGC were behind by around 900k when sony announced 10M sold (they adjusted afterwords but not fully). That should tell us everything we need to know about how well it tracks the PS4

While I'm sure he's just quoting the shipped numbers from Sept, I wouldn't be surprised if they have sold through that many, as of now.

It was 13.5 m shipped the 30 september.

It's more than 15 millions after end of october probably. 20 for Xmas is possible, we will see it at the ps experience.

In light of the new Germany figures, I reckon it's worth revisiting this topic and considering that figure of 13.5m actually sold through, coincidence or not.
