I won't get it because the game was overhyped almost to the point of false advertising and it underdelivered in almost every way. Not to mention its almost a year late. No thank you.

Welll......less than six months actually.  What was the false advertising?

Mostly all of their adverts were not even really representative of the game. They were set pieces that don't even happen in the game.

If you need a reference to what im talking about here you go

Ok so a bunch of Wii U owners are upset with Ubisoft because they delayed the release of a game and other games that Many Wii u owners insist they never wanted in the 1st place and will never want in the future - but Ubi is stupid for not releasing the game earlier to the same group of people that never wanted the game or most Ubi games

Makes allot of sense - sounds like a lot of hurt feelings and nothing more - Wow if I m a 3rd party I really want to make a big investment in the Wii u just like .....Ubisoft did back when they were about the only major dev supporting it including Nintendo

I'm boycotting it.

Well you basically aborted your Wii U and now it is alone and scared in some gamestop back rooom or at my best buy on the shelf rotting. So you have that luxury, but most of us never will.

That poor Wii U. I feel sorry for it

lol Why? The system has plenty of great games already on it, with many more coming, that aren't shoddy, late ports by third parties.

If they had bothered to release this closer to the other console version releases, it might have sold more. As it is, with the extra time they've had, they could haver at least added a bit of exclusive content to entice buyers. And no, not just "you get a map on the GamePad".

I have an idea for those who were planning to get this, but have been put off by Ubisoft's actions.

It so happens that Nordic Games has decided to release a new run of the physical version of Darksiders 2, and it has just released (according to NeoGAF people). When THQ and Vigil Games made this game, it was a late release, by necessity (the other versions released before the Wii U itself did). What's more, while they did release it at full price, while the others had already dropped significantly in price, THQ made up for it by including the DLC in the game itself.

Sure, some of the finer details were weaker than the other versions, but we can comfortably put that down to early Wii U issues. What matters, though, is this was a game that had its Wii U version handled right (considering delays and earliness), and Nordic games made it a point to keep the game on the shelves after buying the rights. While Ubisoft are clearly thumbing their nose at Wii U owners, Nordic seems to be welcoming them.

So I say, reject Watch Dogs, and let's everybody (that didn't already get Darksiders 2 for Wii U) go and grab this title, instead. Not only will it be cheaper (especially factoring in the inclusion of DLC), but it'll also be beneficial - heck, maybe Nordic Games will make the next Darksiders available on the Wii U, too.

Ordered my copy last night. Will have it in a few days.

Yes, that is a very good summary of the situation... I think part of the problem is wishful thinking, many think that the Wii U is a more powerful machine that it really is and expect every port to be automatically better, and since that is not the situation (because it actually requires more money and time to optimize for the difference in architecture that the publisher wants to spend), they dismiss every effort made, now the publishers think that the market is not there (which I agree) and don't want to spend any money at all, and we are missing a lot of good-great games that could be releasing on the console to compliment the first party titles.

Just thought I'd update to say that I went through with it, and bought Darksiders 2. I'll be playing it (rather than Watch Dogs) once the big games on my list have been played enough - Smash, HW, MK8, Bayo2, Pokemon OR, etc. It's THQ-branded, but I'm assuming that Nordic Games are the ones that get any money from further shipments, and buying current stock clears channels for new shipments.

Watch Dogs? ha, maybe if it released back with other games. But my money is going towards Smash, Amiibo's and probably pokemon as well.

Not to mention this Hyrule Warriors is my surprise game of the century. I did not expect to spend this much damn time playing this game, and a new dlc comes out in a week.

Even if I wasn't annoyed by Ubisoft or heard watch dogs was a dissapointment, I just don't have time to even consider Watch Dogs.

Edit: forgot the Mario Kart 8 dlc just came out too.  Havne't had time to dive into that very much yet either.  Damn nintendo, spread your shit out, lol.
