REALLY? I never knew. That is terrible! Even the 2DS here comes with an adapter. I dont feel like Nintendo is favouring Australia, but more like it should be included as a standard.

In Aus we always got the ac adapter
this time they copied the other countries.
Yes I knew about it lol.
It isn't the end of the world, but it definitely sucks. I know two people who had no idea and ended up with a 3DS XL console they couldn't play with because they didn't get the adapter. I know there's a warning on the package, but you just don't think about stuff like that. You expect a mobile device to come with an AC adapter, because every goddamn device comes with such a thing!
Imagine you buy a PS4 and there's no power cord in the box. I mean, come on!

Who didn't knew? lol - it's ok, not our duty to know it all but still, i think they even mention it on the direct
Good guy Nintendo
They know that everyone who buys already has one from their old 3DS. They're protecting the environment by not producing useless shit :)

OG Gameboy didn't come with one, either. I spent a billion dollars on batteries. Battery theft was at an all time high in my house. My high priced Duracell or Energizer batteries would be replaced with dead generic batteries all the time.

If the New 3DS has the same AC adapter as the regular 3DS, then yes. If I'm right the GBA SP, DS and DSlite as a group had the same adapter, and the DSi, DSi XL, 2DS, 3DS and 3DS XL all have the same. I'm fairly sure the N3DS and N3DS XL also have that one as well.
OT: I figured the N3DS XL wouldn't have one, because it's box is small. However, the regular model N3DS is in a big box (in Japan anyway, can't see the photo's in OP) like the regular 3DS model which includes an adapter, so are you sure that model also hasn't got an AC adapter?

Becausr then they would cost $15 more that they usually would =P No point adding shit in the box and make buyers pay for it when they may not need it. |
i agree!
