The game is still fun, driving experience is near perfect. Online however is still slow to update leaderboards, ghosts, and it's full of corrupt face-offs now. Beat 11534 km/h average happens pretty much every race. I've completed most accolades, got a nice accolade bonus going in the club and am solidly in the top 200 overall.
It's time for extra content though after 80 hours. The scheduled free dlc for October (track+car) was also delayed. Dunno if that's going to push everything back or added to the November update. It seems they're doing a full rewrite of the server code and only basic maintenance on the current database. It's clear the server code had fundamental flaws and terrible bottlenecks. It still takes 5 minutes or more before a new best time of mine shows up in the leaderboards.
It might have worked fine in their 10k simulated stress test, but I hope they have learned their lesson and do a real beta test next time. How on earth did they think 10K simulated users would be representative of the load a free ps+ version would give, it can't even properly handle the average load of paid versions a month later.
