I agree it did, however, price played a major factor. Nintendo's sweet spot is around the $250 range which is why it boggles my mind as to why they did not drop the price for the holidays.

Especially...with its  low manufacturing cost:P 180$,which means nintendo can  conveniently drop the price at least to 259$...The most weird thing, is 3ds,at full price when N3DS is coming? :O Manufacturing cost of 3ds is 100$...it would kick some ass with a 120$ price...79$ drop loooool I m insane:P

Woooow, the last 100 were sold in 12 minutes. This price on the streets will be wii's 2008 all over again (well, not that much) but it will definitely pick up nice sales

if Nintendo opt for 269.99 starting today. I think it would still a lot than we think. it has 2 games with it then sales would surely pick up. I think price drop would come by around March like other articles would say due to unknown games that would be released by that date.
