PS1 and 2 dominated in America before Xbox did. Things change from gen to gen. People are just associating now with last gen.

UK (some parts of euro also i think) had price cut long time ago and also great deals with bundles.


I only know of UK and US - at least in Germany there were "only" the bundles. I'd be glad to be proven otherwise.

But still: It's ok to "uptalk" the competitor to make "your" favorite brand look even better "Hey look, they are trying and trying. And still, WE win! Hahaha!" The joy of a personal win with sales of a company...

290k in the US for XB1 seems too extreme imo. I was thinking 200-220k after MS' announcement yesterday.
Still, a bit surprising PS4 bump (based on VGC numbers. PS4 is still being systematically undertracked so I can't trust this number)
