NPD software chart:

October:

5. Destiny (360, Xbox One, PS4, PS3)

September:

1. Destiny (Xbox One, PS4, 360, PS3)

So Xbox one outsold PS4 in both months for the game, VGC has them at:

PS4: 1.39m
ONE: 1.16m

So at least 230k Destiny bundles sold? Seeems reasonable.

Weren't there ~300k bundles sold in September alone?

Thats what I just said.

Incidentally... where the hell is Driveclub?  200k according to VGC??

It didn't make VGC's top 10 (individual SKUs), were you expecting it to make NPD's? We have no list except for the combined SKUs

Ok, this shouldn't be that difficult. Hardware is what, 56% better than last year, right? Last gen hardware sales are down YOY, so let's say new gen hardware sales are up 56%. When you do the math, last years sales of 360/PS3/Wii U were roughly 350,703. Let's multiply that by .56 and we get 196,393. Now we add the two numbers and we get 540,793. Wii U is estimated at 69k, which leaves us with 478096 between PS4 and X1. We know PS4 won the month but we don't know by how much. There's a start. A great first October for both. Bottom line: combined, they're up 70 in sales their first year compared to their predecessors. Good stuff. November is gonna be huge for both.

Again, this isn't 100% obviously, but it's a snapshot.

Unfortunately for your math, the percentages NPD uses are based on revenue, not units sold.

We know that SO did over 100k without bundles (doesn't say much).
Bayonetta 2 sold about 70k, and that driveclub did under that (over 130k overtracked, brutal).

Where did we get the Bayonetta numbers?

Then you didn't do the math properly, because it's around the 68k figure not 75k.

The 2013 totals are already known and every month we've had WiiU numbers leak this year.

WiiU did 68k~

Is there a place where we can get Last year's total numbers? Because that would be appreciated.

Sure that would be good. Probably just the full year of 2013, Jan-Oct 2013 and all of 2014 so far.

I was just wondering if they were pre-calculated or not.

NPD sucks without numbers
