Forums - Nintendo - Where are the Wii U black friday deals?

I've been looking at a bunch of the major retailers black friday deals and I've noticed there really doesn't seem to be any Wii U discounts going on, one retailer has Wii U+4 games for $359 but I don't think that will have as big of an impact as an actual price reduction. I was expecting at the very least to see $249 bundles on this day. With Xbox One being $329 with a game or 2 and some retailers throwing in gift cards, it may very well take away some of Wii U's sales being so close in price.

Toys R Us and Gamestop have yet to reveal their black friday sales so maybe they will have lower priced bundles. Is anyone else surprised at the lack of Wii U sales this holiday?

When the herd loses its way, the shepard must kill the bull that leads them astray.

it is nintendo the one that sell their games full price for years so don't expect deals...

Yes but I'm pretty sure it's retailers who decide to do black friday discounts, which Wii U doesn't seem to be getting

Possibly don't want to take a hit/feel the need given it won't sell as good as the rest of their videogame hardware.

That or they have low stocks and hardly any units to sell?

They probably just rely on smash bros impact a lot:P

Wouldn't be surprised to see Smash bundles appear at the last minute TBH

Here lies the dearly departed Nintendomination Thread.

I've never seen the point in announcing sales early because it kneecaps current sales.
