I rented the game through work, I couldnt even finish the Lyric Tomb

Pretty sure anyone talking negatively about anything on mailers gets their message deleted, so I can't really say I'm surprised you see positive comments about it, - that's all they allow. 

 

When I posted about a problem I was having with fatal frame crashing to see if anyone else was experiencing it,  it got deleted too. 

Really dislike forced-happy environments.

People tend to be more positive about things if they cared enough to pay for it in the first place.

I kinda wish Metacritic would somehow connect to PSN, XBL, or NN (?). It would give you a more accurate (if inflated) idea of the opinions of people who actually played a game instead of those who say, "Oh, I hate Sony. Uncharted 3 is a 0/10."

Where do I start?

The game has incredibly lame combat because it seems to lack different combos, the first hub world you get to looks plain and dull, and the graphics go from bad to barely acceptable. Characters keep repeating annoying lines, etc. etc. etc.

This impression is coming from the first 1 1/2 hours of the game I've watched. Also, the framerate seems to be unstable, but (even though I don't think this is true) that could be because of YouTube.
