There's many mixed feelings about this game within this series' fan-base. Some think it's awesome, some think it's the black sheep (while there's already another game that could claim that title) of the franchise. One thing's for sure, it certainly was a unique entry.


I can think of a few titles... Zelda 2?

The other one. The one that also fits this description .

The game looks terrible, and yet the frame rate still manages to stutter pretty frequently.  I don't know what the developers used to model the car handling, but it certainly wasn't real cars. The melee is janky, and there are some problems with hit detection.  The gunplay isn't much better, it handles decently but there is not enough weight to the guns.

Despite all that, this game still manages to be awesome.  The characters are bizarre but interesting, the overarching story is gripping, the side missions are a mixed bag but have some gems and the mechanic of having time go by each day and having a small town to explore at your will works very well.

I have never played a game that has so many flaws but still manages to be so enjoyable

Amazing arcade racer. Handling felt incredible, it looked great for it's time and was just pure fun.  The balance between having to win races and earn Kudos worked perfectly.  Shame that Bizarre Creations are no more.
