It's Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast. The game takes place during approximately the same time as the new movie will, so depending on how that goes, some of the Jedi Knight series could be retconned. Let's hope they'll have enough respect to the older material or keep it vague enough in the new movie so that we can keep on considering these parts of the EU to be canon all the same.

I liked Jedi Academy to, but I thought that it wasn't up to par with this one. I think Jedi Outcast has a better story, better characters and overal has a more polished feel. The whole series is great though, including the first Jedi Knight and the old Dark Forces. It's too bad they never made another sequel, especially with Republic Commando later on showing us the potential.


Doubtful. Star Wars has already been retconned thanks to Disney. Meaning no Old Republic and no Luke Skywalker's sons.

 

The only canon thing from SW right now are the movies, and The Clone Wars TV series. Kyle Katarn, unfortunately, has been erased from the canon. Which is a shame, because he was the best Jedi in the Galaxy.
