This is one of the rare games in this series with a direct sequel. The game in question drew skepticism from fans due to its graphics; the sequel drew hostility from fans due to its control scheme.

But none of those clues were related to String Theory. The three clues each make out a part of the title; if you can figure out what each one means then you're on to a winner.

Here's a hint. Figure out the Mathematical Clue and you're on to a winner.

I thought the mathematical clue had something to do with the Theory of Strings?
