Forums - Gaming - AC Unity has major framerate issues

Wow that's really bad. Ubisoft really messed up developing this game unfortunately.

So parity claims were bs?
running on low 20's in PS4, what is the situation on X1?

This has nothing to do with learning. Those are seasoned devs that are programming on a well known hardware architecture. Shit like this happens when a certain publisher doesn't want to spend more time and money to do it properly.

Exactly. This is the real problem. Not the power of consoles.

For comprasion. Old gen, 2012.

If you look at the crowd, 2/3s just have exactly the same animations

if you look at the unity gameplays, you will find that probabaly more than 2/3 of crowd have exatly the same animations. people in crowds acts like puppets with stick in the.... ;/

after crowd simulations in games like  hitman abolution on the pastgens, asssin creed unity looks poor. also framerate drops to 18 fps? on ps4? or pc when GTx770 and i7 3gen has ~24fps... it is not acceptable

Fear not internet denizens, I'll fix this shitty game syndrome.

I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt that they'll fix it before too long. But that crowd was not impressive in the slightest

Large crowds have been done before, see Gears 2, but Unity's do seem better

But my copy is in the post. I can judge properly tomorrow, hopefully

X1 runs better in gameplay, PS4 better in cutscenes.

Any news on a potential patch from Ubisoft?

As far as I know they´ve been silent.

Hopefully more people will stop pre-ordering games and just start waiting for a few days.

I have personally been better in terms of not ordering games at launch, but I can't wait for AC... I am weak
