Forums - Gaming - Dragon Age Inquisition Review Thread - Meta 89

Already pre-ordered.

I predict that the Wii U will sell a total of 18 million units in its lifetime.

The NX will be a 900p machine

Ok, now i can breath easy that DA2 isn't being repeated. Yayyyyy

It seems Bioware have done a good job here, though I'm not quite convinced enough to buy it at launch just a week after Unity

Was holding my expectations way back on this one after Dragon Age 2.

Dragon Age 2 was a good game, but suffered from being rushed significantly and resorted re using environments way too much.

The only site to give it an average review was game-reactor Sweden who on average rate games about 6-7% lower than other publications.

Was hoping for an 80 meta and given that its currently sitting at 89 for the PS4 version I am very happy.

the meta is actually 88

It was 90 until a moment ago, when the 7/10 popped along.

A reason why I think Metacritic should remove the top and bottom review (or 2), then average the rest. There is always one or 2 oddly low or high making the mean broken.

It's good scores, though, looking forward to it.

Hmm, pie.

Delighted for the game. The 7/10 and 10/10 cancel each other out nicely. The meta is at 89/10. Would be great if it could creep up to 90 but it'll prob be dragged down by someone looking for attention.

The Telegraph gave the game a 6/10 saying their was no motivation to do anything in the game.

are they counted in the meta? they're such scumbags giving it such a bad review :O

According to the review from Videogamer the game is fucking huge, the combat system is close to DA2 and there will be a bunch of politics involved in your decisions. Pretty much everything I wanted from the new one.

I'm starting to get really pumped now :)

Many of the things they accuse Dragon Age Inquisition of are the kind of things you find considerably more rampart in Fable 2 (a great game) like being the chosen one or fetch quest, which they game a PERFECT Score of 10/10.

They also chide Dragon Age Inquisition's political intrugue saying, and I am quoting word for word "you seldom feel embroiled in anything approaching A Game of Thrones levels of intrigue" which covers exactly 100% of video games in existence.

Yes they have a right to an opinion, as do I, which is that there review system is both non-sense and inconsistent in a way that should warrant banning from metacritic.
