This is just pathetic really how do companies keep fucking this up?

Because we keep buying their games no matter the fuckfest that is the game and that applies to basically all companies bar Nintendo perhaps.

You were accused of posting old news but it seems they still were current problem.

There is a ingame message now from 343 that says the matchmaking can be slow.

Some GAFers are getting lucky with 2 minutes to find players but of course this is anedoctal and it was two hours ago.

Edit - I forget to say after find players and starting the match the game crashed.

People on both side abuse anedoctal.

but if the dev assumes the problem no spin or downplay may deny it. Some trie, others pretend they weren't prove wrong and disappear or deny reality itself... Same old same old.

On patches, dev over rely on them and our capacity to accept poor product. But not sure if with the proportions of modern games if no bugs and glitches is possible even with extensive qa. But gamebreaking obvious glitches like in war in the north (no patch after more than 2 years) with only correction is delete save and start from scratch (70% in game) and skrym are unnaceptable. At least some few times patch deliver free content and other good things.

I'm a scrooge pupet so most of times I buy used or severely discounted some years later when usually the problems are solved. Gen 7 I think I bought 10-20 full priced games and all top notch with very little glitch (nothing bothersome).

A shit ton of people must be playing, or trying to, although that isn't an excuse for the servers to go down day one

Considering MS boasted about having a shit-ton of servers before launch and how much better it would make playing on their platform over their competition... I'd say this is pretty bad.

This entirely disproves all of that imo.

Will Polygon change their review score for this?

They already did... and they summarised pretty well... right now it is broken.

"8/10

There's no sugarcoating it: Halo: The Master Chief Collection's multiplayer component is broken. Users have reported extended wait times to access matches in every playlist (or "hopper," per Halo parlance). Polygon editors have had similar difficulties, and today I was unable to access a single match of any kind, encountering various error messages or endless queues, and even one full game crash to the Xbox One dashboard.

The Master Chief Collection's campaign element appears to be fully functional, so players aren't totally locked out of the experience the game is offering. But until 343 manages to make it multiplayer functional, our recommendation of the MCC has become considerably more qualified."

Users will says here that his friends are playing it yet and call me bullshiting

Because you don't own an Xbox one and are trying to prove something you can not check yourself. I just ask shikamaru (this forum) in the xbox empire to play together a match......we have one match together and he lives in the USA/and I in Europe/belgium...And I have to read a comment like yours.
