Early numbers of japan shows that PS3 and XBOX are going to be almost equal.

Moreover i don't think there was any worth while release in US or Europe.

Plus XBOX supplies issues should have eased pretty much by now.

and the quick gains made by PS3 due to Blu-Ray victory should be coming to an end.

So the number should be pretty close (as PS3 winning others, XBOX winning NA and Japan getting even)..  and XBOX might just win by few hundred...

yeah PS3 will win again and until 360 has a price drop and good game launches GTA IV im guessing will move more 360s then PS3s. because MS will advertise it and just show xbox after it and say sumthing about exclusive DLC and average joe will thin k the whole game is exclusive as sony is to stupid to advertise.

IMO PS3 will surely outsell the 360 (and Wii will end up first). PS3 Japan sales will rise with the release of Yakuza 3.

but Ryu ga Gotoku Kenzan hasn't been released in the week ending 1st of march, so it won't have any effect on the sales data for that week

So, your whole post is baseless. Okay. I thought you were going to be giving me some more reasons than your opinions.

PS3 will continue to outsell the 360, at least until GTAIV, and possibly after that (It did still outsell XBOX 360 when DMC4 came out.)

coming to an end? The increased sales of the PS3 from BluRay victory will be an ongoing gain... It's not like everyone that was holding out to wait for the war all bought the PS3 last week, I'm sure some did, but you have people that will now start buying in the next few months, people that will start (keyword: start) to think about HD setups, the average consumer might not even know the format war is over, then in the next few months they go to BestBuy and the associate tells them, etc

 

BluRay Victory sales will never stop, its only going to increase and help as time passes

 

as far as if the PS3 will beat the 360, I'm kind of on both sides, its hard to tell, I can see either the 360 winning by 2,000... or the PS3 widening the gap bigger then last week

 

It'll be close that is for sure!

I somehow doubt that the Japanese sales of the PS3 and 360 are going to be the same, i mean last week was a dry week for both consoles but the PS3 still outsold it by 15k...

I really doubt the 360 will be that high in Japan again
