Forums - Sales - 53% of Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare sales were on Xbox (UK)

53% of Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare sales were on Xbox

But PS4 was the best-selling platform with 35%.

53 per cent of Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare's opening week sales were on Xbox One and Xbox 360, GfK Chart Track has revealed.

PS4 was actually the lead platform with 35 per cent of sales, but only slightly ahead of Xbox One at 32 per cent - a surprise given the lead PS4 has over Xbox One.

Xbox 360, meanwhile, took an impressive 21 per cent of sales, with PS3 managing only 11 per cent.

While exact sales figures for Advanced Warfare have yet to be confirmed, it was revealed earlier today that the game managed to outsell Titanfall, Destiny and Wolfenstein: The New Order combined to become the fifth-fastest selling Call of Duty of all time.

Interesting. 360 did very well as expected and PS4 and X1 were close as expected too. COD is still, just an xbox franchise then

* in the UK

I guess Xbox gamers love of CoD is just too strong for Playstation to overcome

So, around 250K on PS4, 100Kon PS3, and almost 400K on X360+XO ?

Around the Network

xbox one did really good considering the difference in user base, but then again the game was marketed by MS and had a X1 Bundle.

Very close for the Xbox One.

While the PS4 has twice the install base of the Xbox One the Xbox has been more strongly associated with the Call of Duty franchise the PlayStation and the bundles were heavily promoted for Xbox One.

Expect the PS4 sales to grow in disparity to the Xbox One sales.

This is just UK,  the gap us not bear double there.  Worldwide the gap will be bigger.

Again the MS PR machine trying to muddle the waters by joining the 360 numbers and the xb1 numbers... it's childish

finally a breakdown
