i'll take that to mean their E3 game trailer is going to look nothing like the game. getting "ubisofted" if you will.

That was confirmed PC footage.

Parity is fine.  Why should devs spend the extra hours and manpower on making the ps4 version look 5% better than the XBO version?  That doesn't benefit them in any way.

Huh?  They don't need extra time same architecture one is more powerful.  It is not fine,  ever.  Each platform should be utilized properly.

you're off an order of magnitude.

developer's priorities aren't my priorities,. i care about the product i'm paying for.   this was already a priority B game for me so if it comes in anything less than 1080p and another game i'm interested in is 1080p my likelyhood of skipping this game increases dramatically.

Awesome, another game for VGC to throw a fit over because they think some pixels might have been held back.

People have a right to be miffed when a Dev holds back one version because ms released a weaker console.  Many bought a ps4 because it was more powerful.  Some people have strong principles

Didn't bother anyone back in the ps2 gen when gamecube and xbox games were held back by the ps2.

Flat out lie.  Xbox games looked a lot better then ps2 google is your friend.

It requires more time.  When MS stepped in to get Diablo to 1080p on XBO when Blizzard could not, it wasn't one simple line of code.

Huh?  No it does not,  ps4 gas better hardware if will hit a higher target naturally like most multiplats already..... It will take more time to get x1 on par.... Considering the better hardware on ps4 that means something on ps4 I'd not being utilized.  Most other games had no issues being higher on ps4.

That´s a good idea, gives the PS4 a chance to keep up with X1.

this is an ps4 exclusiv Marketing game
so not like asscredd, where ms paid for parity

Of course not. Or even last gen with the PS3 being a pain in the ass to develop for. How much extra time did those games require developers to spend on and how much was sacrificed for that time? Who knows. Hell it even affected this gen with Titanfall.

But you don't have to go back that far, just look at this thread. PS4 PS4 PS4. The game is coming to PC as well, and the quote says "parity across all platforms". If anyone should be up in arms it should be PC gamers. But they don't care about their PS4 holding PC gaming back. It's hilarious, it's almost as if some people think the PS4 would be pushing 4k at 240fps if not for the Xbox One holding it back. They are both weak consoles. The Xbox One is slightly weaker. It's not some huge difference. It seems some have trouble accepting this and would rather instead latch onto conspiracies about MS paying developers or developers holding back out of the kindness of their hearts.

oh god you are one of those people that think the ps4 and xbo gpu's are drastically different.  Ignorance if anyone thinks a 1.84 tflops over 1.31 tflops = 50% better graphics. albeit easy to achieve.

Not buying a game because its not 1080p is dispicable. Ryse looks better than /almost/ every game on console and its only 900p.
