Parity is fine.  Why should devs spend the extra hours and manpower on making the ps4 version look 5% better than the XBO version?  That doesn't benefit them in any way.


Huh?  They don't need extra time same architecture one is more powerful.  It is not fine,  ever.  Each platform should be utilized properly.  

It requires more time.  When MS stepped in to get Diablo to 1080p on XBO when Blizzard could not, it wasn't one simple line of code. 

Huh?  No it does not,  ps4 gas better hardware if will hit a higher target naturally like most multiplats already..... It will take more time to get x1 on par.... Considering the better hardware on ps4 that means something on ps4 I'd not being utilized.  Most other games had no issues being higher on ps4.
