Yes, I can guarentee it was a "new" IP. :P

Listen, the title is changed, be happy.  Perhaps discussion can move back to the actual game now instead of this endless back and forth about semantics?

You can e-mail Blizzard themselves and pretty much every news site on the internet to tell them it's not their first new franchise in 17 years, if you want to debate it further.

You asked the question, I replied, if you didn't feel as if the conversation should have continued, then perhaps don't ask questions in future? No point biting my head off.

Twitch shooter comeback time! love it.. looks fun and great

Indeed, between this and Unreal Tournament, it pleases me greatly! The art is nice and "happy" which reminds me of "Nerf Arena Blast" in a way.

Looks incredible. That is all.

Fair enough.  I apologise.

I just find it a little frustrating that this thread which I intended just to be a place to discuss a new game which looks bloody awesome has devolved into this constant back and forth on the meaning of "announced", especially as I was just re-posting a title as it was delivered by numerous other websites.

I didn't feel like I was biting your head off (genuinely, I want to get this topic back on track) but if you felt that I was being overly aggressive, then sorry.

I really love that Blizzard not only announced the game but that there's a shitload of content to watch. I much prefer this kind of announcement than getting a single title and a few pieces of concept art.

Looking at the gameplay videos for this game, it's looks like a really entertaining game.

Signature goes here!

Seen it a couple times now and it does look damn good. This was quite the nice surprise!

Here lies the dearly departed Nintendomination Thread.

Looks interesting. Not hyped at all, though.

4 ≈ One

I'm pretty sure it's just Team Fortess 3. Holy balls it looks way too much like Team Fortress.

I bet the Wii U would sell more than 15M LTD by the end of 2015. He bet it would sell less. I lost.

Never really cared for arena shooters myself, but this does indeed look nice. After the cinematic preview I'd like to see a feature length animated movie.
