Anyone know if the server issues have been resolved yet? Or any word on the PS+ edition. Really want to play this game but not gonna buy until i've tried PS+

The servers haven't been completely fixed but the game can definitely be played online now with almost no lag.

There has been no word on the PS+ version though.

us october ps4 sales according to chartz (1 week missing):

nba2k15: 381k
driveclub: 195K
fifa 15: 46k

nba2k15 10% digital attachrate: 38k
driveclub 10% digital attachrate: 19,5k
driveclub 20% digital attachrate: 39k (but driveclub is way behind nba2k15 and not above)

 

so yes. driveclub bombed hard to be digital seller (at least in the us)
its either that, or the physical sales for driveclub in the us are WAY overtracked...


when and IF we got leaked npd numbers this month again, ill do this math again to see what kind of digital attachrate the game will probably have

You better buy this game now if you want to play because so far who played really like this game for the track design, handling and graphics. You have so much content as events in Single player for more than 20 hours to finish and multiplayer is working but have some issues(challenges are not working and rest are ok) but works when you are get connected. Team size has been increased by Shu to write the multiplaer code from the start which has some issues and they will finish it asp in a month or two along with adding Weather, Photo and Replay modes by december. Then you have many udpates to add new tracks and cars for 8 months. You dont have to worry about this as its got more support planned so go buy it if you really liked the videos seen so far.



GAMING is not about spending hours to pass/waste our time just for fun,

its a Feeling/Experience about a VIRTUAL WORLD we can never be in real, and realizing some of our dreams (also creating new ones).

So, Feel Emotions, Experience Adventure/Action, Challenge Game, Solve puzzles and Have fun.

PlayStation is about all-round "New experiences" using new IP's to provide great diversity for everyone.

Xbox is always about Online and Shooting.

Nintendo is always about Fun games and milking IP's.

It still topped European charts though, and that's where racing games sell the most, so the game still probably has very high digital sales.

The multiplayer is working just fine for me (without any lag), though of course the challenges are not working. They are getting fixed though.

in europe, probably yes
but as i said. its at #1 so we cant figure it out that way.

we know that europe loves racing games and the europe ps+ deal is saving 40% vs the us one only 20% + driveclub bundles
but we dont have any hard sales figures for europe. so its useless anyway.

 

my best guess is the following:

use us sales and us digital attachrate. estimate something between the double and trippe for europe retail sales and digital attachrate
so if us sales are 100k by 15% digital attachrate, we get probably 200 - 300k europe sales and 30-45% digital.



Just do a poll on here to check this. Would potentially be more legit then your current numbers.
