Good way to defend piracy. As long as it doesn't come against performance it's good. This might be a common feature in all windows games.

Like all PC games, this one will be cracked within an hour and pirated to hell and back.

Chance is slim. FIFA 15 and lotf are still not cracked. This protection works.

There is nothing a hacker with enough time and skill can't crack. 

Doubt it, FIFA and Lotf aren't exactly "high profile" titles that people are just waiting to play... GTA V on the other hand, is exactly that much of a high profile title! It might not get hacked on the first day but it will certainly be hacked soon enough after the release date. A hacker won't just spend days trying to hack a game that most people don't care about but on a game like GTA V, they will spend a lot

It will be hacked. Denuvo is hardcore stuff, but it's not uncrackable. Last time it took the crackers 46 days. That was FIFA 14 which also used Denuvo. It's really impressive. the downside is that Denuvo screws around with the gamecode and is known for creating all kinds of bugs. :

As i understand it from speaking to a few people in the 0sec scene, Denuvo has actually been cracked, they just havent pushed out any releases as they are waiting for several major releases to use it before they push out cracked binaries, so that they do not change the protection routines before said major releases.

Simply put, it could well be that along with GTAV on day one, several other previously uncracked games will have cracks released too.

Same tactic was used for vbox protection in the late 90s.

GTA V will have three DRM in PC.
