Black Friday. Don't think a single day earlier.
Possible new Xb1 bundle could be 1year gold including. That would fit the 160 Dollar digital value. But this is just a guess of mine.

The week ends today, but its not updated for final ranks by now.

Because no other game touched the quality of GTAV this year.

Anything with Unity is a bad deal to be fair.

A deal is based in what the consumer wishes at the best possible price.

PS4 + GTAV + TLOUR @ 399 will be the best seller SKU of Black Friday plus consumers still want the retail version of these games instead digital vouchers like others bundles.

Why don't Sony do a PS4 on it's pwn with nothing for the lowest possible price. The equivilent of selling the ps4 for 399 with 2 games is pretty much 329 or less. Why not go for that and get all the people who just want the cheapest option?

It is easy for Sony because they get most of type of consumers.

+ These that want GTAV (a lot)
+ These that want to make money just selling the bundled games
+ These that want a PS4 (they will get two free retail games)

These is no error in the bundle... it is the best odd for them.

For those questioning the PS4 remastered bundle, you should probably look at the UK charts. GTAV is going to sell big again and move hardware.

As opposed to what?  A bundle with a year old cross-gen game, and a buggy new game from the same series, that is almost universally considered inferior?

that's a good point. most people won't have played one of the games in the bundle and to be fair they are both the best rated games on the system. it's a bundle where you are guaranteed too top class  online and offline games. 

As opposed to a bundle with the bugiest ACD game ever or call of duty. 

#10 - Assassin's Creed Bundle

#15 - PS4

#36 - CoD Bundle

#49 - Destiny PS4

#50 - Ass Creed w/ Kinect

#88 - Xbox One

#>100 - White Sunset Overdriv

So despite the X1 outselling the ps4 by "3 to 1" early on the net result a week before black friday is not too bad for the ps4. One thing for sure is the ps4 won't lose Nov by much and december will favour the ps4 if anything. I'dbet my house on PS4 taking a comfortable lead for most of next year then which will nullify any gains MS might make Xmas 2015 if they decide to do another firesale.
