Fire Emblem x Soul Calibur actually sounds a lot better than SMTxFE. :)

Let's hope this is in the vein of what he's talking about when he says spin off titles, and not just titles such as Cpt Toad. It's not that I have anything against the game, it looks fun and I will purchase it. But if we are talking about non timeline Nintendo games, let me play a major character in a different way (like Hyrule Warriors). I don't need to play Adam Malcovich's Father Figure of Samus Adventures!

The game was developed by a third party, so i dont think it impacted Nintendo developed games in any big way.

By the way... Fire Emblem X Soul Calibur  fighting game would be a match made in heaven. Fire emblem is a franchise with so much to draw from, i'm amazed how underused by Nintendo is has been.
