With release coming next week at 11th of November, one of the most important game for Xbox One this holiday season, if not the wholeyear, is set to arrive on Microsoft's next-gen console.
Although Metacritic has been argued the last months and years on how important it is, it gives us still a mean value for reviews (which are also being argued, especially the last months
) for a game.
"Game" info:
- Collection of all 4 mainline Halo games, meaning:
- Halo: CE (Meta 97: http://www.metacritic.com/game/xbox/halo-combat-evolved)
- Halo 2 Anniversary (non-Anniversary Meta 95: http://www.metacritic.com/game/xbox/halo-2)
- Halo 3 (94 Meta http://www.metacritic.com/game/xbox-360/halo-3)
- Halo 4 (87 Meta: http://www.metacritic.com/game/xbox-360/halo-4)
and additionally
- Halo 5 Beta
Seeing these metas, the series seems to be in a decline critically and I don't know how much reviewers will add in the "value" of this whole package to give a review for this "game" which is more a collection than one game, yet it combines the multiplayer part into one interface which contradicts the collection scheme.
Additionally given that this gen reviewers are more conservative with giving high numbers, what do you think Halo:MCC will finish at?
