Things that are a given:
- MK8 and HW DLC for November info, possibly one of them released this week
- Smash Bros video (almost a given that DHD intro will be shown)
- Pokemon ORAS info
- Captain Toad/Sonic Boom/Watch_Dogs
- Amiibos mentioned
Highly likely or Likely+Anticipated:
- Pokemon ORAS to play all in 3D when played on New3DS
- Smash Bros DLC info beyond Mewtwo (even if just confirmation that more will be coming)
- Info on use of Amiibos in MK8 and Captain Toad, possibly also HW
- Info on Splatoon/Yoshi's Woolly World/Mario Maker
- At least one "new" announcement
- 3DS themes for rest of year
Things I'd love to hear/see (somewhat plausible individually, definitely not all happening):
- Announcement of a big-name remake (Majora's Mask, Galaxy/Sunshine, or other such remakes)
- Second Zelda teaser trailer (perhaps showing off Zelda herself, or one of the other inhabitants, with a hint of the "theme" of the game)
- Animal Crossing U revealed
- Partnership with multiple developers for big-name exclusives (not necessarily shown off)
- Return of an older franchise (F-Zero, Ice Climbers, Earthbound, 1080, Wave Race EDIT: or Murasame Castle)
- Watch_Dogs U having extra features/content (OK, this is probably the least plausible)
Pie-In-The-Sky:
- Nintendo starting/acquiring a new series of studios in the west, including one headed by Warren Spector, one headed by the recently-unemployed Jade Raymond, as well as purchases of High Voltage Software (for their engines), to name a few.
- Nintendo revealed to be the company working with Euclideon, first game to be available early 2015, demo available in December, game looks incredibly detailed.
- Nintendo does big deal with major publisher, all of their games will be exclusive for remainder of the generation*.
- Hyrule Warriors 2 confirmed to have started development, due to the resounding success of the first game. To be bigger in scope, incorporate more elements of classic Zelda (eg/ open world elements).
* I don't want exclusivity for the "keeping those with other consoles from getting them" angle, but from the "if it's their only source of revenue for the next few years, they've got to make a real effort on the Nintendo platforms" angle. I'm fed up with half-arsed ports.
