When will we see Banjo again on Xbox?

2015 25 21.19%

2016 28 23.73%

Never. 14 11.86%

We will see a crappy spin... 51 43.22%

Total:118

Would rather see a new Kameo. Banjo platforming is kinda boring.

Whilst I would love to see a new Kameo, the end of that sentence was blasphemy.

I think you just repeat what you hear/read on the internet.

Nuts & Bolts is not a mainline Banjo game.

It's a vehicle building game and it excels at that, hence it averages in the 80's on metacritic. It's far from a failure but a different game that Rare fans didn't  expect.

So by creating a game Rare fans didn't expect, how were they betting on nostalgia? Your views are very inconsistent.

By bringing a different conversation into the mix, your statement became muddled.

You said they failed with Nuts and Bolts but the owners/reviewers of the game disagree with you.

It's a solid 4/5 stars on Xbox Marketplace and 79 on metacritic; which would've made it one of the best rating game, if it had been released today in the 8th Gen.

Not sure if this is a positive statement, or a negative statement... Guess we will just have to wait and see. I for one would lose it if they made another banjo platformer.

Doesn't anyone realize who Tim Dog is... lowers head in shame. The damage he has done is unreal.

Anyway, I hope they revive Banjo.

You never answered my question or even defended your view.

I backed off on my failure comment earlier, seeing how it was a bit unfair since the game did generally recieve positive reviews and we are talking about Rare's ability as a developer.

That being said, in terms of sales and revitalizing an inconic series it was indeed a failure. It couln't even get close to a million sales on a software powerhouse like the 360 with a decent marketing push from Microsoft.

You seem to agree it was a game fans weren't expecting, so if that was them "betting on nostalgia", how do you propose that more "gameplay innovations" in the next iteration will benefit the series stability?

What does his second tweet mean?

I think it is in reference to the increase in sales Microsoft has seen in the past few days (globally in the US).

Ah, that's good news.

Can't wait for a new Banjo game!

I liked me some Banjo years ago. Playing it in modern time was horribly boring and nuts and bolts was very forgettable. In other words, color me slightly interested in something new.
