I never even noticed any tearing so far. Must be one of those where you almost have to be looking for it.

You do obviously you posted here.  Pc has nothing to do with this thread.  Pc the best for red dead,  uncharted or bloidborne etc.....   PC also gets a lot of bad console ports.  How many have a PS that can play games on good settings?  Not everyone wants to play on pc and prefer console.  So that's invalid and nothing to do with the thread.

The thing about crushed black is that you don't need to look for them, they are there. You can check out the video or the GAF thread has plenty of pictures. I can post one later if you want.


yea sure.curious to see how they look like , as i clearly don't see them and have never seen them in any xbox game . i saw teh video with comparison between ps4 and xo there and i couldn't see them there. they used it to showcase it.

You don't need a specific time you can see it anytime. Though if you didn't notice it before I don't know how you'll notice this time. How can you not see that half of your screen is black is beyond me though.

It seems a tiny bit better than the launch games though I give you that.

You don't need training to distinguish colors, that ability is with you starting from birth. They are fucked up and it is a console issue, not a game issue. Some developers apparently avoid it by developing their custom scaler but most don't. It is beyond terrible.

Well, from further reading, some games that are not upscaled also have this issue as well. Apparently Microsoft botched the gamma curve and apparently it was an issue with the 360 as well. Didn't know that.
