This is not an over reaction. Just a reality check. I know some Xbox fans are being really immature about it but the fact remains SOny is allowing MS take the US for Nov. Unless they have killer deals up their sleeve and I highly doubt it.
It looks like certain retailers are making deals with the PS4. For instance, you can get the Destiny bundle for $410 on eBay via Newegg or the bundle + NBA 2K15 or FIFA 15 on Walmart for $419. So it's not like there aren't any good PS4 deals.

Sony could perhaps try to capitalize in 2015. No doubt the Xbox One's sales will drop sharply if the price goes back up to $400 (MS may decide to make the price cut permanent, however).
Sony can still use their Price-Drop-Card whenever they feel the need. And 2015 may be the perfect time, should MS increase the Xbox's price back up.

As I said in another thread, we're going to have to wait til Black Friday weekend numbers come in. This will help in 3 ways. 1) We'll see if this jump in sales is actually spurring many new sales/customers, or if it's just mostly people who would have gotten it BF, maybe Dec, who are getting it early because of the sale. 2) We'll see if BF PS4 sales will be able to make up for any gains the XBO has made in the beginning of Nov. 3) And probably more importantly, we'll actually see how Sony is going to react to this.
I mean, we're only 2 full days into Nov and yet some people are already calling Nov for MS? Really? What happens if Sony meets the XBO's $349 price? Or if Sony announces some great bundles for $399?

they are nothing like the MS deals and are not advertised heavily either.

i agree with everything you say I just dont see SOny doing any of that. It looks like they've gone profit over sales but if they don't do a far cry and gta bundle they will lose a lot of profit.

in the US. I know PS4 will beat it easily WW in November but the US is a big territory and one SOny should not throw away their early lead in.
