You know what Anita and co should go do? she should kick up stink about the treatment of islamic woman, was reading a story recently where a woman was tried and hung for stabbing a man who was raping her, she was found guilty of pre meditated murder. That is a place where Anita and her friends should go make a difference, because it's bloody needed there, not that princess peach is being kidnapped in another game or that there isn't a Princess charming rescueing a Dame in distress in a movie...

If there is a useful purpose of Gamergate is definitely isn't being projected outside of 4chan and Reddit

Best chance for people who actually see there is some merit to it, drop the moniker- its been completely destroyed by the guys whom insist on sending death threats or personal attacks or character assassinations as opposed to actually arguing specific points.

I played this depression quest game going into it with an open mind.And it was freaking atrocious, I'd rather play text adventures from the mid 80s than that thing.It shouldn't even be on steam, it's more like an educational website flash "game" sort of thing.

I'm no expert but basically this woman made a shitty text game then slept with five different guys involved with the gaming biz, some which gave it good reviews/helped it get on steam or something.

Hahaha, What? I am a man and I don't remember being driven out of anything. Last time I checked males still dominate Music, Movies and TV. Do people still not know what feminism means? It doesn't mean women take over the world and men become the subjected. It means equal rights for both sexes. And before anyone says that's not what all feminist fight for you need to remember with any movement there are radicals. The radicals don't define the collective. To put it simple if you think women should have equal rights by definition you are a feminist.

basically this disgruntled ex-boyfriend wrote a blog about how his ex-gf, who deved depression quest, slept with reviewers from different websites

it is confirmed she has a relationship with someone from Kotaku (her current bf), who wrote one article that mentioned depression quest among other games (apparently prior to the relationship), but never did a review on it
